About Casa Valduga
Casa Valduga is one of Brazil's leading wineries, renowned for pioneering premium winemaking in the south, particularly within the Serra Gaúcha and Vale dos Vinhedos. This family estate has played a pivotal role in raising Brazil’s wine profile, taking full advantage of the region’s moderate climate and rolling highland terrain ideal for both sparkling and still wines.
The winery cultivates vineyards across diverse regions, including Campanha Gaúcha and Serra do Sudeste in Rio Grande do Sul, as well as notable references to Maipo Valley and Mendoza. Casa Valduga is dedicated to both international grape varieties—Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir—and has successfully introduced less common grapes such as Arinarnoa and Marselan. Vineyards here benefit from varied soils and significant diurnal temperature variation, enhancing wine complexity.
Internationally, Casa Valduga is best known for its traditional-method sparkling wines, with the celebratory "130 Brut Espumante" and "Arte Tradicional Brut" standing out as flagships. The estate’s portfolio also includes robust, age-worthy reds like "STORIA Merlot" and elegant whites including "Leopoldina Gran Chardonnay". Both traditional techniques and modern innovation play central roles in their production philosophy.
Casa Valduga’s commitment to sustainability and quality has contributed to Brazilian wine’s global recognition. Their sparkling and still wines are marked by purity, freshness, and aging potential, making them favorites with enthusiasts within and beyond Latin America.
